ok, then it works...the stupid thing though is there isn't a way to password protect an image...or maybe there is I dunno.

what I am trying to do is see if I can isolate an image...make it so that only some WTF'ers can view the image but not the general pubic.

WHY?

I want to test and see if I just pull the image out of the usual gigantic block of html code, if it'll still register as an image view.

You could via .htaccess if it was hosted on your blog/server...

Looking at that code briefly, the image appears in the first line of code.
Everything afterwards is like an advertisement..

You can with the correct code use .htaccess to only allow those who pull up the image 'or file' from a particular site or sites 'referrers' blocking all others.

'image views' as in getting paid from the one place?

Yes, part of Photrade's "platform" is sharing your pictures and getting paid for it.

So (for instance) if you were to visit my myspace page and view (uniquely) all the images there, I would get paid for that.

the "unknown" for me is...if I post images here or on any other forum for that matter, do I still get credited for views? or is there something unique to their html code that triggers the image view?

Yeah, that code you pasted had a javascript (which I assume will track it) in it.
