    Hi,

Yes, It might of lived if it had sun light and water. Just joking

I think it caught a cold when I moved in a snow storm. I forgot to take it out of the car over night. When I brought it into the house it lasted about three day and the leaves turned brown and fell off

Really liked it to, paid $40 for it and had it for a few years the plant was huge bigger the me took up the whole ft seat from the floor up could not even see out of the passenger side window when I was driving. I was tried from the move and thought it would be OK over night. Just another dummy me thing I did.

Oh wow, it sounds like the kind of plant i'd love to have in my living room, the same thing happened to me though so don't feel bad.

I had a plant that I grew from a piece that fell off of another plant, and once it actually rooted and started growing and looking nice, I moved during the winter time also.

I moved everthing else in but left the plant that I had in the backseat behind the driver seat in my truck.

It was still green but wilted in the cold, tried to revive it but did not work.

I am trying to sell or trade in the BMW I have now for a Mercedes SLK Kompressor, I want either the roadster or the convertible, not the station wagon model.

    Hi,

I guessed correctly WOW. Now I amazed myself.

Mercedes, my biological father had one of them. Might I suggest a Jaguar E-Type real hot looking cars, also if you really want a Mercedes get the SLR.

I am willing to help you drive either of them. Both have a downside the shifter get in the way of any fun.

Gotta get ready for work talk later tonight.

Yea, to me Jaguar's have always been distinguished cars, I have always wanted one.

Now, I am a pretty tall guy, so that shifter being in the way may be a big factor in my decision on what to buy, lol

Always had to have a car with seats that go fully back.

Oh wow, you own a floral shop? That is amazing, you should post some pics in this thread about your display or any floral arrangements you make.

This bush of Red Roses was one that I bought and planted for my mother on mothers day last year, it was a lot bigger.

That is of course until the next door neighbor ran the bush over with his ride-on lawnmower. I wanted to run him over with the same lawnmower.

My mother was heart-broken, she did not even want to tell me when I drove by her house and asked her what happened to the rose bush.

all that was left was the bulb of the roots and some stem. It looked horrible, so I then had to dig it up.

I put it in a ceramic pot and miraculously the roses in the photo are the result.

Roses are very hardy plants, roses actually require that you cut them and trim when necessary, but I don't think that that is what the neighbor had in mind when he ran it over. Either way wanted to share it with you guys, looks nice and I brought it back to my mother, she could not believe it was the same rose bush.

I am always working on her front yard, I am very much into landscaping and gardening.

Will post more pics of how the garden came out!

Industrial Farming is not just for Food Production, isnt it crazy!

But a huge market of farming, agriculture and industry is from the production and growth of flowers, potted plants, garden plants, decorative trees and bushes.:energetic:

Yea the first pic is of a farm, farming you got it red flowers for production, cultivation, selling and shipping!
Don't know the exact species of flower, as the pic is too far away to indentify what kind of flowers they are. From a distance they look like red roses, but no way to be certain.

The second pic is a green apple tree (Granny Smith); scientific name (Malus domestica)

still not ripe yet but it will still stay that green color, maybe lighten up a bit color wise once it fully matures.

(my favorite kind of apples are the Golden Delicious, the yellow ones)

    Hi,

I just bought some apples at the store the other day. (Red Delicious) They say keep refrigerated after purchase on the bag. Now who refrigerate apples? They belong in the bowl on the table next to the oranges. These apples say on the bag they are from Michigan. But I was told that the best Apples are from Washington. But the store didn't have any apples that said Washington on the bag

Lol yea, I never put my apples in the fridgerator that makes no sense, just like people who put syrup in the fridge, gets me angry.

I was never really too conscience before about where my apples came from, but now the trends say that we should start buying any kind of groceries from local/near by farmers.

This is supposed to be more "green" or eco-friendly, because when you buy local your apples do not have to travel from state to state, which saves gas in transporting of goods. Also helps promote your local economy, instead of spending your money on goods that come from out of state.

I have bought from local farmers in the past. But they don't grow bananas around here and I like my bananas. I am also a fan of peaches, pineapples and oranges. So if I am to be close to eco-friendly I will need to move again. If I move again it will be back to Las Vegas were I know all these items grow in the all you can eat buffet line.

LMAO, gotta love those all you can eat buffet lines. You can get whatever you want, whenever you want!

Pretty much at that point I don't think anyone cares where it comes from as long as the buffet trays keep on being refilled.

Two Little Tiny Hosta Plants, that are just starting to grow in my garden.

I love these hosta plants because they are perennial, which means that they grow every year, no need to replant them. I planted these in about 3-4 years ago.

Also, once they are well established, every year they will get larger and larger. Also once they reach maturity, they grow multiple beautiful purple flowers which grow from the center of the plants, on green stalks that grow from within each hosta.

I will post new pics of these same plants once they actually do start to grow flower, right now only leaves are growing from them.

1 is (Scientific Name) Hosta fortunei - green and yellow

2 is (Scientific Name) Hosta undulata - green and white

I haven't got around to gardening in a number of years, but I used to grow vegetables more often than I grew flowers. I have a friend who works on an Organic vegetable farm in California. I worked on a animal farm in 4-H when I was young and have more experience with animals than plants.

That reminds me of something. Do you have fingerprints??? Here is why I was watching a rerun of Hawaii 5-O. The bad guy left his fingerprints. They thought it was to smugged to get a print from. They were wrong. Come to find out the killer worked in the pineapples fields. They said on the show that long exposure to pineapple acid ate away his old fingerprints. Wonder if that could really happen?

1 horse, 1 donkey, 1 cow, a few goats and a few sheep. Those are the ones I helped to take care of. There were chickens, roosters, pigs, rabbits and other animals but other people took care of them.

As far as I can see I have fingerprints I wonder just how scientific Hawaii 5-0 is

Googled it, though, and WikiAnswers seems to say it's true (and also says Pineapple is not a citrus fruit)...

WikiAnswers - Is a pineapple a citrus fruit

Tough one Sami, you are trying to test my skills huh? Normally I at least have an image of the flower to go on, but I like a challenge.

Lol, I tried looking at the name of the photo but I guess you prevented that from helping me, lol.

    After thinking really hard!

My guess would be the Audrey Hepburn? Scientific Name (Rosa 'TWOadore')

am I correct, now you have me curious.

This same flower is also commonly known as "Joan's Desire"

    Ok, they are The Browns!

One of their singles is "You Can't Grow Peaches From A Cherry Tree" and I know from a previous post that you love peaches.

So could your favorite flower be Cherry Blossums?

Hmmm, they are really pretty and quite unique.

I personally have never come across this flower, seen or heard of it, interesting. Now I must research it and learn more about it.

Very nice pic and very nice post Sami! In actuality, they do look like little bells hanging off

I wonder where it grows and where it is indigenous to.

    Hi,

I did not know that they were poison till wiki said so. Grandma had a patch growing on the east side of the house by her flower garden. She would always pick them and put them in a pot on the kitchen table. Lili of the Valley made the whole house smell good better then any incense you can get.

Brides would were Lili of the valley in their hair for wedding all the time. So did yours truly. Maybe that's why my marriage failed it was poisoned by me from the start
