Creatively Killing Time @ The Local PlayGround

Is playground one word or two? TY Google spell check, one it is.

:camera: Ok, to be honest this was the local playground but it worked for a title and I went with it.

:camera: This was @ our weekend getaway, a resort NW of Houston on Conroe Lake or Lake Conroe come to think of it.

:camera: Even though we were on a lake (next to it actually), and while there were ducks present, there just wasn't a lot to photograph.

:camera: So what do you do? Not take any pictures? Or only take 3 pictures? 1 of the duck, 1 of the sunset, and 1 of the girls swinging?

:camera: While I covered all 3 of the above in earnest, I also took the opportunity to explore the playground apparatus, the local flora and fauna (I don't talk like this BTW).

:camera: So these are just a few shots I took over the weekend

Very cool. Everytime I try to take obscure pictures, they come out weird. Yours become art!

Yep, that was right after the sun had gone down. I missed getting the actual sunset by like 3.3 minutes! (got it the next day though).

it takes practice. In my earlier days, if it weren't pretty I weren't snappin'. Of course shooting film was different but I didn't know any better anyway :rollsmile

I liked the sky b/c it had enough color left in it and then the PG was mad colors, pretty OLD paint too :stun:

I'll have to work on the sunset pics...yous guys will love those a lot more than my CHIPPED PAINT

(btw, I never ate paint chips as a kid if you were wondering...shut-up BK :twisted: )

the yellow on the 3rd one...pollen!! it was in full effect with the pollen fallout. The 3rd one is a BBQ grill BTW...mmmmmmmmmmmmm, extra flavor.

Y, that is one old PG, actually at a 'resort'. All the new PGs are plastic and stuff ya know!

oh it was, just me and the ducks the shore of the lake was bugly so that's all I had to work with, that tree
