Thread: Models Photos Image Catalog Code

My knowledge on JavaScript & PHP isnt that good yet .. Sorry if this its a silly question but I don't know a quick way to do this:

I'm working in my own model agency website and I would like to know how to build the model catalog section (where the models will show up).

First in the model catalog I wanna show up all the models with them names below the photo
( Here is an example: http://cnmodelos.com/modelosNacionales.php?provincia=1 )

Second when someone click on any of the pictures can go to the model info and extra photos
(Here is an example: http://cnmodelos.com/datosModelo.php?id=4 )

so far as i know that could be done on JavaScript and PHP

But here come the biggest questions:

1. Can be done with wordpress theme maybe with a plugin?
   
2. Can be done with oscommerce or magneto?
   
3. Is there any place where I can download a template for my model agency project (Im not looking for XML or Flash templates) that has a administrative console like oscommerce or wordpress.

I hope someone give me any idea on it......

I would check around, I think I found some free wp themes when I was looking for mind that would work for this. I would also recommend you look at Joolma becasue you can do a lot more with it then wp, but its a little harder to use. try doing a search for cssgallery theme.

you don't need Javascript at all.

@Wordpress: I don't know
@Magento: you could define your model as 'product', make your model category, assign all model 'products' to this category; clicking the main category will show your models. Clicking a model will guide you to the model suite, where you can view the 'product' details (images can be added via admin panel).
Note: modifying OsCommerce is easier than adding or changing functionality in magento (crazy zend-magic).
