Thread: Who here uses YPN?

I'm just curious. I'm signed up for it but don't use it much.

I think its a good alternative to google adsense.

what about the $, is the same??

I've not signed up because I'm in the UK, but from what I've heard, it is a good alternative to Adsense, but don't expect to earn the same level of income.

Has anyone being successful with YPN?

Yeah, it's STILL not in Canada. Sucks.

I cant sign up as im in the Uk, which really annoys men gretly, I have a friend using it and he says he's earning much more then google on it. Google is very very 'sketchy' to use as they ban everyone for the slightest of things, Yahoo is a little more relaxed, whilst still retaining the same level of outcome for the publishers.

Wish I could get an account.

Yahoo might be more relaxed now, but when and if it goes live, we'll see a different YPN.

I use YPN.

I wish they would offer more types of links. They are currently very limited.

Do you think they will allow webmasters outside of the US to use it?

I am not from US, so I don't have a chance to use it but people tell me, its a great alternative to adsense and a better one sicne it gets you higher $. Now since program itself is in beta and limited to US only, may thats the reason for higher payrates, since all is for the US and by the US. But moment they expand to others parts of world, i guess their payrates are going to level with adsense's or may be marginally higher.

Its a good programme untill know, but haven't had opportunity to use it.

Yeah I've noticed those as well to, some people who got banned from adsense are willing to pay damn near anything for an account. I did read of people having their accounts yanked though becuase they had 'bought' them.

I'd not take the risk - it only takes someone to report the sale to YPN, and your busted and lost money. It's not worth it IMO.

Last year they were great. I had two $35.00 clicks and one $15.00 click. This year they have been in da pits!!!! grrrr!!!

At times like this all I can say is... I do not like Green eggs and ham.

I was using YPN but click through rate sucked. I just use adsense now. I don't know why the CTR sucked, maybe it was my niche.

I use it on a couple of accounts and get a check maybe every 3 months.
It isn't performing all that well for me.

i have been using ypn for last two months on two websites; click through rate suck but click pays ok.

i think it may be good for web directories or forums with lot of USA traffic

I tried YPN long ago.. wasn't too impressed and stopped using it. I may try it on a couple new sites to see if it's improved.

YPN is still sucking. I am getting .01 CTR right now. Thats just crap.

You would be fortunate to get a $0.15 click now using YPN.

It's because YPN is just under Beta edition....That's why...
They are just getting the idea of what adsense do or the algo of the Google which they can't do yet. :rolleyes-h:

I think they should rename it to Yahoo Publisher Network Beta. It is always going to be beta. :rolleyes-h:

And still they don't accept publishers from other countries....It is only applicable to US. Unlike the Google adsense accepts worldwide already. :rolleyes-h:

Give it some time, they will return it.

I am using YPN on one of my sites. It is not earning me much.
The ads are not well targeted and I am thinking about removing them all together.

I want to use YPN but i heard its just for international publishers

YPN is good, but it could be so much better...

I haven't tried this one yet. I might give it a try one day. I just hope I won't get disappointed.
