How to submit a site to search engines

How could i submit my site to different search engines please help me out

please post a link of the search engines as well.

It's not usually necessary - the search engines will find your site within a day or two. If you really want to then submit here:

Add your URL to Google
Yahoo! Submit Your Site
Live Search URL Submission
AltaVista - Business Services

There are literally thousands of SEs all over the place but you'd be wasting your time to submit anywhere other than these big 4 (the submission effort outweighs the benefits).

One time submission is enough unless you have refined your web contents and keyword. If you use wordpress, you can use Google site map generator to submit sitemap .

Smaller search engines have their individual submit pages where you could submit your URL.

On a marketing perspective, the more exposure you have on the net - the more reach and traffic it could give you.

Don't even waste your time submitting to the big SE's !!!

They will find you on their own from links to your site from other sites.

I agree that big SEs will find on their own. however, i disagree that it is a waste of time submitting it to SE Directory.

You can submit to free directory sites, and once you have submitted your site to a crawled site. Your site will be recognize by SEs. Or you just put your links on your sig on different forums, in that way you don't have to submit your site directly to the SE, they will come to you.

Create an account in google webmaster tool and submit your site's sitemap so that it will be easy for the bot to index your pages.
