Thread: How long search engines will take to index my NEW site?

My new site decentbanners.com is still not indexed by ANY search engine even it has been launched 4 days ago and I have put link to it in my signature links on every forum I have joined.

But still google, yahoo and msn no one has indexed my site

Any idea how long they take to find a new site?

I have submitted a sitemap on Google Webmaster Central and it is showing the status as OK but no indexing yet.

Google last visited my site in Feb 2008. Any idea when it will come back? how can I bring it to my site fast?

nope..the correct way of checking indexed pages is without space.. if you put space, it will show back links, and not the indexed pages..

Just for your information, Google and other search engines have crawled my site... it took me around 10 days to be indexed by search engines.

I put up a new blog about 10 days ago and it still has been indexed ny Google. But Yahoo had it indexed in around 5 days.

I know a little trick everyone can use for the future sites you make. Somehow get your link on a PR6 page and your site will usually be indexed in 24 hours or less. Never use search engine submit things, they take a long time to index your site and it's useless. The trick is, how do you get a PR6+ link. Go to the link sales section, I'm actually selling PR7 links in packages of 2. :P

I usually get my sites indexed max a day. Try high traffic sites and forums. They tend to give fast results. high PR is another option but must be live PR not dead dropped domain sites. But they are more costly..

If you can see backlinks for your site means your site is indexed.

Google can take some time to update.

But your site is indexed. You can check your site through google toolbar directly and easily.

I think that you should have started your link building campaign right after you have uploaded your website to the server, doing so will get your website listed quickly.
Mine got listed after the next day of my campaign.

Adding adsense to your site will get you crawled fast.

It should take about two three weeks to get index

For some reason it seems that it takes longer for a wordpress site to get indexed compared to a static side.
