On 11th of November, developers from Ukraine released a toolbar for Internet Explorer which allows to search Google™ using a voice. VoiceSearchBar.com allows to download free toolbar for a browser which enables speech recognition for the Google™ Search Engine. This is the first program which allows to search the web using a voice. VoiceSearchBar.com will help users to use Google™ search engine not only with a keyboard but using a voice too. Toolbar supports recognition of the English language only.

Will it be helpful at all? I don't think it will be that helpful and effective? I heard it generates a wrong information. I just don't know if it's true.

zeruel, I'm with you.. I don't think it will be as helpful as it will be frustrating when it types out the wrong things.. I don't think it is going to be something for myself anyways.

We use google voice to improve the voice algo’s for search or they are just throwing up another service to log you into Google’s realm.

Sounds like very high tech. But I think it will need a super complex voice decoder that considers every language's pronunciation and be able to convert that into words. I'm sure it will still be a long time before that way of searching can be as smooth as typing the letters/words in a search bar.
