Thread: Strange search term

I was just browsing awstats for a few of my sites and one particular one has two instances of a search for the word "Monday" :3086: There's only about 533,000,000 different results for the word, so I have to wonder how far into it 2 people (or one twice) went to find my site :crazy:

LOL! Searched keywords are unpredictable sometimes. You shouldn't be surprised as those are just isolated cases - meaning one or two people. You should be surprised if the number increased to at least 10.

this happens to me at least twice a month for words that i am not optimized for it usually comes from live search never google i guess you momentarily rank high for that particular word for whatever reason.

It must have been momentarily because when I searched the word, my site was nowhere to be seen

This can happen for generic, board keywords like "monday".

That is why there is the so called link building.. So that your site will appear on the first page and be seen by internet users.. Obviously, no one is interested with the latter results of search engine..

It is impossible to make such an exact calculation! I tried but failed

If I ever need a good laugh, I click on my blog stats and check out the search terms that people typed.
