Thread: Where does your traffic come from?

What percentage of your traffic comes from the variety of search engines?

60% of my traffic comes from search engines, and it is dispersed like so:

81% from Google
9% from Yahoo
3% from AOL
2% from Bing
2% from Search

I'm curious to see what everybody else's referral stats are like.

I would say most of our traffic comes from google from the backlinks from dofollow blogs that I comment from, forums with the signature attached and that mostly it unless its keywords that are tagged in our posts that google catches & ranks our site higher for it for whatever the reason.

My most of traffic comes from google and rest from relevant site where my link is available. Also some traffic comes from yahoo answers.

I focus on the three search engines - Google, Yahoo & MSN, but I get lots of traffic on Google..

For me it is as below

google (organic) 89.46%
(direct) ((none)) 6.28%
search (organic) 0.74%
yahoo (organic) 0.55%
blogger.com (referral) 0.37%

For my sms site 95% traffic comes from search engines.

For my blog & forum most of the traffic comes from referrel sites.

me 80% google, 5 % direct and 15 % referrel

My Site 70% Traffic Comes From Search engine. and 20% Comes From Referring Sites. 10 % traffic Comes From Direct.

In Search engines it comes from Google. Additionally in Twitter.

Some on Social Bookmarking sites, organic search, forums and some are on my another blog...

Seems I get a lot of traffic from google for my keywords but get more affiliates from Yahoo and then Bing (for the same keywords).

Mostly in Google and Yahoo Searches, second comes from Social Networks and referrals from forums

Hi! what tool do you use to see the percentage of traffic from different search engines?

My stats look like the following:
85,5% from Google;
11% from Yahoo;
3,5% from other engines.

I have no idea about Google and such sites...but my most of traffic comes from search engine optimization..

My traffic mainly comes from referrer sites (these are forums, blogs, where my signature is attached).

The search engine optimization is only the process to get the traffic to website in google.

currently I am getting a lot of impressions from google but not very many clickthroughs!

most of the clicks I actually get are from online directories that I have submitted my site to.

Also been getting a lot of traffic from yahoo search results.

IMO you should strive to get as much traffic as you can from as many places as you can. If the majority of your traffic come form one place what happens to you site if that place shuts down?????

Almost all my traffic comes from Google.

Most of my traffic comes from social media sites.

I got almost of my site's traffic from Google. But there are few from Yahoo and other search engines.

I will give 1st preference to social media sites then all the Search engines .And one request to all If any one have .de(German) and .hu (hungarian) extension related to education ,current affairs and news sites plz contact me at vidya[dot]eceltic[at]gmail[dot]com.

I get 80% of traffic from google search.
20% from social media site and email marketing.

Most of the traffic approximately 87% come from Google, 4% from yahoo, and remaining traffic come from referral website as Facebook, twitter, linked in, Digg etc. But it is depend on your website, if your web site ranked well at Search Engine as Google, yahoo, Bing, Ask, alt vista then most of traffic come from these search engine, but if your site not ranked at search engine, then most of the traffic possibly come from direct. So if you want organic traffic from search engine then optimize your site through seo, on page, off page.

My most traffic comes from google about 70 %

70% from search engine which is from Google 90%.
