Is there any one know when the google was launched?

Yahoo began as soon as Google, Yahoo, but was not only a search engine itself, unlike Google. However, there are some other search engines, which began earlier in both, but the main emphasis on the Internet, Google, and is always the same.

According to my research, Google was launched in January 1996.

Just search in google there are lots of information about search engine.

The above quotation shows that Yahoo is first by born but in the race of popularity Google is ahead.

I think first is yahoo in these three search engines.

The first search engine created was Archie, created in 1990 by Alan Emtage, a student at Mc Gill University in Montreal. The original intent of the name was "archives," but it was shortened to Archie.

First search engine was Wandex. It was developed by Matthew Gray @MIT(1993). But now it's no more.

Yahoo was first by a long way.

Originally they used to check the meta tags manually, yes the owners of Yahoo originally did things by hand.

There is no doubt that Google is the best.

I think Yahoo is the first, but Google is the most popular search engine.

I think its MSN, but i am more familiar with Yahoo, I use to optimized yahoo search engine, but when google came, all prospect customers/readers prefer the latest so i shifted to google.
