I'd go dedicated, no other way.
'Shared' imo is crap for ecom.
Not only do they limit you in so many ways, security is also a huge issue with so many running so many different types of scripts....

yes and you could give it a try, but it does have possible problems. Each and every time the site is updated in any way, ALL COPIES need to be updated on all servers 'any changes'

If it's a simple site, never updated, etc you would add the site to each server, and have all name...
