First thing consider by any search engine is description tag and if it duplicated or copied for other website or you are using the same description for other website pages then surly it will not help you and result in getting you website ban from search engine.

Secondly you know the importance of description tag then why you want to copy as it will not help you in getting good ranking on search engine.

Don't try to use same description content of other website. Try to make your own page description. Google Algorithm hates this tactic and you will not see the better results in future also.

Ideally, you should use description tags which are related to your web page... In case you are using the same description, you will get duplicate description tag error in Google Webmaster tools.
In case, you fail to submit unique descriptions, Google will run duplicate descriptions across all your sites.

You can use the same discription tag if you want to but if it is not massive amount of work why not make them different. We know how the search engines and Google in particular love diversity and uniqueness.
