About Dofollow, It's very Important for SEO

Dofollow simple means the ability of a website or weblog to be able to link back to other website link that was left on some of its pages by another website commenter over the internet. In most cases if dofollow is enable on blogs, it will allows readers on your website to be able to visit the other website through (link left on your website through comment)the backlink that the commenter leaves on the site.

Commenting can also be liken to dofollow because there is nothing you can do to get backlink to your blog from another website without you having a relationship with the site (exchanging links with other website by commenting on the posts on the blog).

Though, commenting as a human-being is the legal way, and known as the best act of do-following on earth but some internet blogger (internet aggressive marketers) use blog commenting spam-bots and software to comment on blogs in order to get back backlinks instead of offering the readers an insight to the post content, they spammed the system instead. The major purpose of taking part in blog commenting for this type of people is for the sake of getting traffic to their blog at all cost and this is illegal.

Dofollow is good for internet bloggers that wants good online presence in a short possible time but, only if the person can do it legally.

i think google doesn't officially register dofollow links but unofficially recognizes their value.

Dofollow links are really important for SEO. So when I do link building I pay special attention to dofollow links.

Do-Follow sites are much helpful for link building purpose but I can't say that No-Follow sites are not good. No-Follow sites are also much helpful for SEO.

Every SEO prefers do follow links rather then no follow links because Google likes do follow links and Google bot can see only do follow links.

You cannot fully trust the Dofollow lists that you find on the internet as these sites are quite often only dofollow on one page of the website. For example, ezinearticles are nofollow on the articles pages, but dofollow on the signature page. If you want to know what is what, then install a Firefox toolbar like SeoQuake that will tell you if it is or not. I was quite shocked to learn that a lot of my dofollow links actually werent and I had to change my link wheel accordingly

IMO all links - nofollow, dofollow, or redirect are helpful it's just that Dofollow links has more value on search engines eyes - especially Google

As I know dofollow means those links are acceptable in Google and other search engine. No follow links are also acceptable but they are not accredited in backlinks. With dofollow links your website will get good improvement in search engines.

I think we need to create balance between do follow and no follow backlinks if you need to see some better results on google serp.

FYI - links on WebTalkForums are nofollow, which may surprise some people.
