Any trick to get US traffic on website?

Friends i am promoting couple of US website and I want to get US traffic on it. Currently I am using forum posting, directory submission. I am getting good traffic form these methods but the problem is maximum comes to my website from India instead. So kindly help me in this matter i need US clients.

You can use change geo location from site webmaster tool.Also you can focus on some US based web directories, local business directories ,classifieds.You can use city names with your targeted keyword to get traffic from US.

Yes, I think its a better idea to set you location to us from webmaster tool.

You probably wouldn't want a domain name that ends with .in I don't know if it helps but my domain registar and host is in the US. Most of the sites I belong to, but not all are in the us, canada, australia, and w. europe. Like I said I don't know if all that matters. I would expect it will take time.

If you are trying to cater to US traffic make sure your english is good along with grammar and sentence structure. I know a lot of people leave fairly fast if they don't understand what they are reading even if it is in english. It doesn't have to be perfect, but is should make sense.
