Default Anybody Still Using Film Cameras?

I wonder if anybody out there is still using film cameras? I haven't used one since 2002, but I don't really like using digital cameras. For a start, there are too many functions. Also, there is much less challenge involved since it is possible to use Photoshop to rescue the vast majority of "bad photographs".

What I mean by "bad photographs" are those that are incorrectly exposed, or have the wrong colour balance.

I still have a selection of film camera and lenses that are no longer used or have not been used at all.

My parents, not very technically minded, still take a 35mm camera when they go on holiday. They might be the last people in Britain.

Classic cameras good for collections

No, we don't use cameras with film anymore.

Kodak has stopped making film.

Now leaving Fuji of Japan the only film manufacturer left.

Fuji says they will continue production for an unknown period of years.

yeah, for the average user...they will never even understand 71% of the functions of a prosumer type camera. they just buy it thinking hey, expensive camera = good pictures

As a general answer, I wrote something about this some time ago. If you're interested. Are digital cameras destroying photography?

I can't even visit photo groups @ myspace anymore (other than my own) b/c the pictures posted for the most part are absolute garbage!

Okay, I should have said: Koday quit making mass market films, but still making specialized film.

I still have a Pentax K1000 I got in 94, or 95. Probably won't use it again but it does have sentimental value.

I wonder if somebody can update me on the current state of digital photography vs film. Has it approached or surpassed film in terms of resolution, and colour rendering? Are wedding studios using medium format digital cameras rather than film cameras?

I am still using an analog kodak camera, it works good with me. I am thinking of buying a digital camera soon.
