PR UPDATE!!: I think

Well, i was browsing around my blog looking for stuff to link to in my new post and I saw my Google toolbar, It said I had a PR of 3.

I thought it just got stuck from the last page I visited, and I went to prchecker.info to see if it was for real.
And that's when I started to jump for joy, I have a PR3 blog, the red one in my sig links.

Any one else get a nice new years eve present?

I sure did, and am really happy with Google

All my sites went up and did better than I thought that they would esp with all the hassles that I have been having.

Had a couple of sites go from pr1 to pr2 apart from that no change musnt grumble.

Yeah, it updated, unfortunately my web freak is still the same, esidyo.com is PR2 and nonsenseplanet is PR1... unhappy

I've very happy especially with our blog even though the main page stayed a 3, 9 other pages on our blog went up to PR's of 1

YAY!

Other sites went down and up, a mixture this time 'round but will work harder for the next PR update

I got a few ups but also one down, I had a 2 go to 4, a 0 go to 1, a 1 go to 3, but I also had a 1 go to 0 =(

Yes, My forum got PR2 from PR1

My blog got PR1 from PR0

But no changes for my banners site. May be it will take some more time.

Looks like G are screwing me yet again. My personal blog, which was PR5 before the September update, has taken yet another dive from PR3 to PR2.

lmao, im glad to see most of you (every one but country boy) got something good for the new year. Think of it this way, even if you go up 1, its still better than what you had.

@ CountryBoy: Why do you think it happened? I doubt google has a grudge on you.

I really don't know. It's a good blog (if I do say so myself) with lots of unique content and links from authority sites like newspapers etc. I've sponsored a few WP themes in the past, but nothing over the top - on the whole I've been a good boy.

Maybe Jenn Mattern works for G now too?

I got several changes in PR

The funny thing was that I got a PR2 on my hosting reselling site which has only a few pages, hardly any content at all and very few if any backlinks.

My main site was a PR4 then in the last update it dropped to a PR2 and then in the latest update it got a 3 - this site has well over a thousand pages, at least 99% unique, hundreds of backlinks and very nice SERPs and gets about 3000 uniques per day.

I really dont care too much about PR anymore. When I was new I thought it was much more important. To me it is all about traffic and SERPs and as long as I get that I am not too concerned about PR (Unless I decide to sell one of them

)

Google doesn't like forced link building. They are smart than you think, they can differentiate natural links and the links used to get backlinks.
