Default Are we so strange?

I was walking with my two daughters earlier and because we had some monsoonal showers earlier it was quite humid out. To cool down a bit, we reached up and pulled branches down to sprinkle each other with water.

People just stared at us like we were escapees from a mental institution. It didn't worry us though, we had fun Only one person looked amused and he looked like he may have originated from one of the pacific islands.

Don't people know how to have fun anymore?

People are just too serious, you never see people just running out in the rain and getting totally soaked just because

Yeah, you also don't see neighbors getting to know each other anymore. In my old neighborhood I knew everyone, when I moved to my new place 9 months ago, I went around and introduced myself to the neighbors and they looked at me like I was crazy.

My neighbors are the total opposite, I remember a few years back we had a major power outage which affected several cities! Too many people were running air conditioners...

Everyone on my street came outside, got coolers together and everybody's ice and everybody's booze, and partied til power was restored, which was hours and hours, lucky it was a warm night.

Stuff like that makes you wish the power went out more often, you get to know people you've never seen before and they only live 3 doors down.

i get the same looks/comments when i change at the beach. i have nothing to hide, but i get comments from other women because i didnt use a towel to cover my butt when i changed into my bikini, lol oh like a thong is covering so much you have to hide 3 seconds of your ass that no-one can see unless they are making an effort to look at it!"!!
