Thumbs up Re: How to check for external links?

Hello friend,
There are many online tools available to check external links. You can use Seo Quake and Google webmaster tool. Besides these, some websites also offer free services to check external links such as webconfs.com.

Thanks
Franky

Google webmaster tools is the best for checking backlinks in google:
Google Webmaster Central

Yahoo explorer is pretty good for checking all links:
Site Explorer - Yahoo! Site Explorer

I'd recommend signing up to both (if you haven't already), it's good to see how two big search engines count links.

Just do a google search. There are tools all over the web that allow you to check links. I like the google tools. Also remember that links do not show up right away- They can take months and if a forum or web site ever goes under the links would dissapear.

Most of the online checkers will only do the more recent 1000 backlinks. If you have more it won't give you stats or data on more. But that's still pretty decent, and gives you an idea of what you have going on.
