lol you can scan a book and it will convert the text into a text file for you if you have a good scanner and software with it.

Thank you very much ! My laptop is a great deal faster , now . It only has a 40GB hard drive but it has 2GB RAM . Thanks again .

also to speed up your computer try cleaning your registry with regseeker deletes all old registry entries then try defraging your registry with auslogics registry defragmenter, it defragments and compress the registry, it really boosts speed,

also dont know if it was mentioned download and install cachecleaner deletes all temp files/ caches/ pagefiles/ recylce bin and fixes registry issues, it also deletes all file to a gutmann standard with 35 passes

Well aside from the fact that the above things I did completely busted javascript in Firefox for me (which is a huge no-no, as I couldn't do ANYTHING in the vbulletin admin), my Photoshop finally seems to run nice and fast, faster than it ever did on this laptop. Now I'll actually be able to work properly.

However, I had to create a new profile in Firefox, import all my bookmarks, redo all my settings, find all the extensions I had and re-install them, which was all very annoying, I guess that's what happens when you majorly change the registry, lol.
