Thread: Has anyone seen positive results with MySpace advertising/ bulletins?

I have tried this two times but haven't seen much change in viewership on one of my sites.

Has anyone else tried to use MySpace advertising/ bulletins and have you received positive results?

Wanna share some strategies or offer some tips?

Yes, I have a myspace profile for my DJ board myspace.com/odjt I really have to work on the about me text but..

A bulletin is posted anytime we make major upgrade or add new features to the site. So far I've posted 2 or 3 and gotten about some hits and ~ 5 registrations off from the myspace friends list.

I don't do anything special though just a quick a look at us. I made the subject of one bulletin free lesbian pics.. It worked

I used to sell accounts so it must work!!!

not sure how that has changed if any since they started to crack down on profiles though here recently. I haven't sold any accts in like 2 months now.

Don;t buy bulletins from forums because they have been spammed to death already. Bulletin promotion is only effective if you do it yourself.

Yeah, i've had very positive results. I get about 50 visitors a day from myspace bullitins, and i'm not even paying for them anymore.

But I suppose my site is a myspace layouts site.

I just replied to similiar thread in this forum. It is not such great marketing tool, but you can use it, and you will get some results.

It more than likely depends on your website or blog niche as with any type of advertising

I wouldn't think this would bring much traffic over, a few hits if that. If you got some space on a really popular MySpace then you may.

Does traffic from MySpace bulletin depend on the type of site you're advertising? Or do you still get visits even if you post like...non-MySpace related bulletins?

I do get some results using another social networking site similar to myspace. It does work but I think we should not overdo it.

^ I get a lot of traffic coming from Propeller. MySpace, haven't tried.

Its not the best, but if you get any additional visits or sales then it must be a success, any extra visits are a bonus.

Think we need a new kind of craze to hit the internet to get everyone buzzing on!! Any idea's
