Without spam... well, then don't use myspace. In order to get attention to a site using myspace, you'll have to spam.

You can always purchase some bulletins or comments from someone with a lot of friends for a price. I've seen it done. I've actually had bulletin.myspace.com be my top referrer at times.

I have a idea
make ur won blog in the site that u want to promote.
collect good news and fill into ur blog.
publish that in myspace.
if u are able to gather some friends, they will rate your link and thus search engines also feel easy to find that from Myspace.

Couldn't make out a word of it, really!

A friend was doing some great promoting there, but myspace is so picky about some things, and in most cases they were just wrong, but accounts were dropping like flys.
I have to get me a myspace account, heaven help me, but think I might focus more on some of the newer players.
