Twitter is online stalking to me. I tried it for a short time. You just type in anything you want as far as "what are you doing" then people can search to find you by location, job, keywords etc, but I don't find it to be a very good networking type site. Hopefully someone on here is more into it and could shed a positive light on it instead of me :P

Twitter is a place where you tell people in your list what exactly you are doing or going to do.

Follow in twitter is as simple as adding a new friend. That is when someone follows you or you follow someone, you are able to view posts made by your friend or vice-versa...

How does it help my websites?
The more number of followers the more chances of getting views to your website only if you post your link.... (not spam)

Yes you have to, for long links; so that you could shorten your message as twitter allows only 140 characters in a single post.

What do I write in "what are you doing"
Write what exactly you are doing or going to do. Simple
