I haven't succumbed yet, but I am getting tempted as a few old friends and school mates are contacting my daughter to see if I am on there.
I just signed up and joined the community.
I think it's great. We've lived in several places and this has helped me reconnect with old friends. My husband used to hate it until he started finding his old friends on there. With my parents and siblings far away, they're able to see the latest pics and vids of my little girls. It's great.
Well, I joined the group and boy is it lonely in there.
My current phpBay Plugin For WordPress project is Buy HD.
I'm Twitterpated, please follow me and I'll do the same.
add me up in facebook c_elle14@yahoo.com.ph
glad to see you all at face book
Has anyone had success marketing in Facebook?

I've done some Facebook ad campaigns and the click-through rates are much lower than Google adwords (don't know about other PPC programs as those are the only ones I've used). We're talking orders of magnitude lower. I think the reason is that when someone is doing a google search, they are specifically looking for something, and so if your ad catches their eye, they might click on it. With Facebook, people are looking to talk to their friends or whatever, and so the ads are just a distraction. If you're interested in doing brand management, it makes a lot of sense to use Facebook ads since MANY people will see your ad and you only have to pay when somebody clicks on it. Therefore, you can get your product in the back of their minds... of course, depending on what product you're selling, this can be more or less effective.
facebook is the best
I'll go sign up and join the community too. People always tell me to join facebook, so I guess it's about time.
