Thread: Google groups?

I'm wondering how effective they would be for networking. While not strictly a social bookmarking site, I think there will be plenty of people looking for new homes now that MSN Groups have closed. Do they get much interest? Because you never really hear them mentioned a lot in my experience as a place to try.

a lot of people mentioned that google groups is also a good way to increase the publicity of our sites, but I haven't used it yet, too bad for me because I'm stuck up using twitter..

Well with Google groups, most moderators or group owners there are strict that when you are detected as spammer, your account will surely be warned or banned.

So I really don't think it is a good idea to take.
