Tips to Get More Visitors o Facebook, Twitter Social Networks?

- you would not get a lot of visitors at once. that is consistent job.
- you have to maintain your image. to show yourself as loyal member to society and not as simple spammer.

On my facebook I have only more than 100 friends because I didn't add a friends. I just wait for them to add me but on twitter I used wefollow.com and I have lots of friends who added/follow me and I added them in return.

post your facebook link on different websites

Increase your friends in face book and then post links on your wall .so that your friends might visit that and traffic might get increased.

What's the use of follow me back? These usually are fake or just spam oriented accounts.

Become member of groups related to your website in Face book. Post interesting information in your wall. This will help you in increasing friends.

You should be active and participate with the community. Like in twitter, you should interact with your followers. So that they might notice that your active and real.. Same as other social networks. Then you can gain your followers.

I have tested Twitter a little bit and I am a bit disappointed...there are a lot of spammers..so you could have hundreds of followers and get no click...
Best thing to do..interact..make friends who will be loyal visitors of your site....but don`t hope for huge traffic

I agree with all of his thoughts. If you really want to increase y our visitors, you need to keep your social networking account active. You need to update it from time to time in order for your visitors not to think that it is a useless stuff.

Yes, twitter has a lot of spam. That is why my personal opinion is to use twitt as less as possible , but you have to use it anyway.

But you can also report spam members to twitter team, and they will get them infractions. Everyone of us can make twitter better!

Your twitter is PR 3? How did you find out what your twitter PR (page rank is)?

I think AndrewE was referring to the other PR..Public Relations!

Easiest way for me to get followers is to visit a person twitter home page that I know has a solid online reputation usually in the same "niche" that I am in..and follower their followers! I just click on the "followers" links and "follow a few of them.

Back to the thread..I been finding by making comments regarding "twitter trending topic" and using "hashtags", seem to get me some followers!

(speaking about trending topics) Even though I believe that "controversy sells" (get traffic)..I really been avoid "twitting" anything negative about "Justin Bieber"...he has quite the loyal fanbase!

Some great tips myhosting.com/forums offers is to:

-Offer an incentive to get visitors to be interested
-Add as many people you can
-Follow as many people as you can
-Market the purpose correctly!

The last point is very important. You don't want your facebook page to be a boring brochure if you are targeting the teens.

I guess to increase your number of friends at the same time you and become active members in it will surely increase more visitors...Just try to be active..and update interesting tweet and your profile often .

These days users of Facebook and Twitter are quick to mark someone as a spammer, you have to let them know they can trust you first

Advertise to your friends, colleagues, Facebook and twitter are aimed at your contemporaries and colleagues

Best tip I can give is do not be a slimy spam artist or affiliate ghost. Fine have your personal network, the "real" facebook account you use for mom dad and girlfriend. Then have your business account, I do and I encourage others to do the same. But pay a reasonable amount of attention to this network as well, you never know when you may meet a kindred spirit online who is able to help you further your web presence but wont deal with people who are just interested in spam and affiliate trash. AND if you happen to be one of those shameless scam artists who are preying on the unemployeed job seekers on Craigslist to further your penny per click crap, SHAME ON YOU! Just sayin.
