Thread: Facebbok or Twitter?

Well i will prefer to go for a Twitter,in my opinion its a best social networking sites.

Facebook is more advanced with more features.

Twitter seems like it is a "celebrity" thing. Facebook is all about the everyday joes.

over and over the same... twitt or fb.. every forum has this kind of thread. If you wand decent answers, searvh a little bit, if you want to grow your number of posts, go to launge and write there...
If there are any other things, why you did start this thread, then don't pay attention to this post

Facebook because lot's of people use it more then Twitter,plus Twitter is New,Facebook is older then Twitter.

I like FaceBook because it is more advance that twitter..

We're using both sites but we preferred facebook because we gain more traffic on that site compare to other social networking websites.

I prefer FaceBook because it is more advance then twitter and world 2 most site to get connected with friends.

As for me they are the same as they offer the same services and the same way of communication. The only difference is the way of organizing the comminication, but the principles are similar.

Both are extremely good. If you want to keep updating the status and want to know the same from your friends use Twitter. On the other hand, if you want to upload videos, photos, view photos of your friend's, play games etc use Facebook.

Ya you are right. It provide great traffic but Facebook is actually provide to build us community. Many user have a fake account at Twitter.

I always prefer to twitter because twitter is best source for generate traffice of your site. One of the best parts Is that you can connect with a customer or a reader. The site has become very popular in only a few months a lot of people are watching it.

the way I look at it, twitter and facebook, can not be compared side by side, yes they are both social networks, but they each have a different approach. i dont think either is more advanced than the other, they are just different.

I agree, they are completely different sites, twitter to me, is spam city where abouts at fb people wont put up with that. Also I use a fan page to get followers for different sites that I have, works well esp if they share with their friends.
Twitter, I have never really understood why so many people use it. I dont even bother looking at my direct messages there as its all spam. But Im there lol

Facebook, it provides much better conversation interface, you can allow users to "Like" your page, and much more than Twitter can. Twitter is good, but for updating your customers.

what matters most is that your traffic in FB and twitter will be converted into ROI

We cannot compare any of them and we all know that any social networking site are all struggling to be the best, struggling to find effective monetization strategies and above all struggling for a long term survival.

I am currently only working with Facebook. I have plans to open a Twitter account but haven't found the time so far.

Twitter is the better simple social network.
Facebook is the better complex social network.

In most cases, most people will make both for the "thing" they are trying to get the word out about. Facebook and Twitter both let you have followers or likers. Personally, I just think Facebook is too good right now for Twitter.

Too many things you can do with Facebook which leads to more productivity.

facebook has more capabilities that can help inform your clients unfortunately twitter is more popular

Facebook is better for family and twitter is best for marketing. That is just my opinion.

Facebook is quite easy as compare to twitter. Well m quite comfortable at facebook.

Facebook improved lots of things, twitter not done such things.

well comparing facebook and twitter, facebook is an online social community and it goes well on that.. where as twitter is a social bookmarking site and very useful for advertising and promotions.. so i would go for twitter for promoting my business..

I find twitter better at the moment for website but facebook is great for personal, i would like to achieve similar results with my website FB page as i have twitter.

Facebook has been too much of an undertaking for me. It is my intention to eventually begin fully engaging in Facebook to promote my website, but for right now I have set it on the back burner.

Other aspects of maintaining and promoting my site have taken precedence over Facebook at the moment.

I do actively partake in sending out important tweets using twitter however.

I prefer Facebook because it have lots of traffic instead of twitter.

Facebook & LInkedIn are better than twitter. Twitter is just about spammy links. Very less % of people use it in right way.

Facebook hands down. Twitter is nice, but is mostly full of spam bots and I honestly don't find it useful. Facebook may have its ups and downs due to their CEO but overall is a better site.

Twitter is huge, and the good thing is, your posts have to be condensed to a few words, good for the reader as they can decide in seconds if they want to know more about what you have to say

facebook used by mostly every person who used the the internet properly and twitter mostly celebrity used.

Of course, Facebook is better than Twitter.

If you can gain enough followers or likes then i think it doesnt make a difference if you are in twitter or facebook though twitter is easier to gain marketing community faster than facebook IMO

I am like both but some difference in it.The twitter is speaking proflio and facebook is the Highly web sites of knowledge.
