Thread: Advertising with facebook

today i started my main advertising campaign... 1 week before my official launch.

I setup an event on facebook offering 20% discount on all quotes int he next week.

500+ people were invited but very very few are accepting it...

Any suggestions on how to get more people invited and preferably people interested.

Facebook advertisement drive lots of traffic from Facebook to your website.
its give lots of user and money making opportunity to you.

My site offers low cost websites (usually £500-1000 for a 10 page site) along with full setup and support.

I have a portfolio with currently 11 good sites on it (ive made round 20 total which have been paid for but a lot arnt active atm)

Im advertising my site worldwide, mainly via word of mouth, but also a facebook event advertising and directory additions.

Any suggestions on cost effective ways to drive customers to my site.

Hi,

All new site take time to start.

One simple for starters would be to add your site to your sig. It will hep get you some backlinks and people will be able to click and see your site

In my own opinion, you have to work on interesting ads before you can get interested people. What is the name of your advertising campaign? Can I visit it? Thanks.

Don't just focus your advertising methods on social networks.

With Facebook you have to tread carefully, invie them to be fans of your wall page, with your wall page advertising the site you wish to promote

Have you used payed advertisement on Facebook before? I'm wondering if it's worth it.

I haven't tried it, but I have heard positive feedback from people that have, im sure it depends on the nature of the site.

You should look for some groups which such interest as you are ..My cousin is using facebook as means to promote its site and she is getting loads of traffic from it...You can also try tweeting about it
