I got an invite to Google+ and so far it looks like a great platform to promote and even build a strong brand off of. Of course it is only in beta but it looks very promising.
Anyone else try it out yet?

yes it is an great alternative for many, i am too using it and seems like very soon it could over come Facebook. It can be used as very good publicing sites also.
no I didn't try yet because all the friends are fb yet so I don't chose this. and even i don't think I am gonna make a profile on it.
I like that it can be divided into categories of friends.
You can choose to view the stream of a particular group.
so cool. ^__^
google+ having some additional features like group chat but security wise its best than facebook

After using it for a week, I feel it is definitely better than Facebook or exposing a product. You just put people in your circle and they'll notice you/your product right away.
Yes, It has good interface and features only required thing is to follow people related to niche of a website to get good benefits for online business.
I don't know, but I tried it for a bit and didn't really like it.
new stuff to adapt... it's good.
Still it is new and we don't know all the possibilities of the platform, but it getting very popular and I hope the creators will improve the site which will become better used for site promotion.
I’ve spent the last few days exploring Google Plus a little more in-depth. After staying up until about 2am yesterday, I’ve come to the conclusion that, for now at least, the benefits of Google Plus are like those of a blog conference event.
Overall I think that Google Plus is not the spectacular failure I expected it to be. They seem to have created an interesting product which is not emulating Facebook but can stand out on its own. There are a lot of missing features such as apps, search features and private messages (though you can always send an email). Google Plus is not a Facebook killer but it sure can try.
I, also, have gotten an invite to Google +. It is in Beta stages, so it isn't as amazing as it could be with the potential it has (I think Google is a great company, so I'm expecting big things from them), but it could use a few improvements. I really can't wait until it's ready for proper work, it should be the next big thing, I need a break after being addicted to Facebook and Twitter. So hopefully over the next couple of months it'll become something which can seriously rival Facebook and Twitter, I certainly think it has the potential to, just has a lot of work to do.

I think the best part of Google + is seeing the nearby people. You can get a good chunk of the viewers just by enticing the locals. It can only spread from there.
It will certainly be a viable option for promotion, but at the moment it is too little in size and activity to be really useful for me.
Like I said earlier, I think it has a great chance of being something great, but I have to agree with the above poster, it is a little too little at the moment for anyone to take a huge grasp on the Social Networking thing. Hopefully it'll improve a lot, and think of something original which will make it the 'Best Social Network', and maybe Facebook will decide not to copy it like with the video chat.
The security of the Google + is very much efficient then the Facebook and it has a lot of new features which facebook is not having...!
Google plus is great. It has some very useful unique features. Like Circle you can share certain stuff with your desired circle only. But it also lack some features like tagging pictures. But since it's still in beta this lacking is acceptable. I'm waiting for it's final version. really gonna be cool.

The 3 way video features is great as well. In terms of marketing, it allows GPS usage to garner you target market which I found very neat and useful.
Yeah, Google+ is good promising site but sometime it is exaggerating. It got great popularity only because of Google's popularity.
BLAM Ads makes me over $7,000 a month, read my comment here!
I switched my traffic from the others and I'm making more!!!!!

I feel like they are not as complete as Facebook yet. Google is using its brand new to promote it at the moment in beta but once they clean up some of the features, it could be a winner. I just feel a lot of people are too used to Facebook and will have a hard time adjusting to the Google+ interface.
yes i am using google + but not enjoying it ...because it is quite boring and don't have much applications like facebook. and i don't think so that it is an alternate of facebook.

I think once the applications are developed by developers and pushed to Google+, the experience will be similar. Of course I think Facebook will be my platform choice for marketing for a long time. Google+ needs to play some catch up.
with time i am pretty sure more and more ppl will give it a try; but for me now i will still "Play" with Facebook.
i don't see it currently but with the time passing..who knows
Google is just entering new sphere. Nothing special.
I'm not really good at adapting to new things, and it even took me a long time to be able to get used to Facebook. But change is constant. I must man up to try something "new". Facebook's getting kinda boring and mediocre, anyway.![]()
cause it can connect directly to your email i think it could overtake facebook someday.
i hope g+ will stand for a long time.... need a revolutionary way that will look uniquely better than others
