Default Posting myspace friend adder bulletins?

    I'm completely lost.

I have no clue how this works. I'm trying to post a myspace friend adder bulletin from my new site - just to test it - but it's not working can someone please explain how I post a working bulletin from the following site?

    SITE

I'm not trying to spam. I just want to figure out how to do this.

It says on the site: "NOTE: copy the code first in a text editor - as Notepad - and then into a html page or it will not work. "

I know what notepad is and how to copy and paste but those directions are confusing.

Can someone who knows please take me step-by-step through how to post a working bulletin? This is really frustrating because it should be so easy but it's not working for me. Thanks.

I followed the directions. I think myspace has filtered out this type of bulletin and therefore the code is worthless??

either that or the site itself is outdated?

The site being outdated is a good possibility. I see that the tonsofadds banner works, though, and they're the most popular site for adds. so myspace is not filtering out everyone.

so Tim, You typically know how to use these sites? I ask because I want to tell the guy who sold me the site the bulletin is not working for an experienced user.

From what I see the page you pointed to and the code is for members to gain points to use for premium areas of the site, not to post bulletins.

The bulletin area links to myspace itself.

I've used them before but I wouldn't go so far as to say I am experienced. Looks like Grim has more of a clue than I b/c he dialed it in on the issue

    /me is clueless

Never used myspace or bulletins, but from the looks of the site it does not actually do bulletins. What are bulletins? Like a mailing to a list or something I assume?

Yeah, I'm sorry. I meant the "referral code". The referral code is for free members, btw.

Anyway, I meant the code for the referral banner is not working. Or maybe I don't know how to make it work. The instructions on the page seem pretty sparse and cryptic.

The instructions are simple, simply copy and paste

    http://www.livefloral.com/myspace.html

Your software/script should handle in the backend those who refer. It's simply a form

Oh God, it just hit me! That is something you would paste into the code of a web page! All this time, I'm thinking it's code for a myspace bulletin...!...lol

Thanks, Grim. I'm really not always this thick-headed but sometimes nothing gets through until it's spelled-out for me.
