felit0, yep, sort of... too many rip offs, too many ultra cheap kids, they sell sponsored themes for BIN 4 links at 60, they just take someone else's professional theme, put some good artwork in there (also i bet unauthorizedly cos some of them are 100% sure cannot be used) and tada... awesome theme for awesome price. advertisers don't see a reason not to sponsor it since its looking good and da*m cheap, and those who still try to sell for 250+ are left out.

I think from now on I will be releasing free themes less and only with my links to promote my sites, maybe sometimes will auction a link, and mainly do custom designs, thankfully I have plenty of requests for that

lets see how this model will work with $8 per download, i am really curious!

Lorelei, I'm heading the same way.
Right now, free themes are a great practise for me,
But I plan on moving up to custom stuff soon. I have had offers as well.
