Default osCommerce template - designed to be easily customizeable $10

    Hi Folks

I set up online stores for small businesses and found it frustrating to locate simple and easy to customize osCommerce templates that didn't cost much. A good number of the applications I was working on were situations where the client wanted to integrate an ecommerce shopping cart into an existing website. Where the back end or administrative side of osCommerce is unparalleled, the front end can be difficult to modify. To deal with this ongoing issue, I have created my own "do it yourself" osCommerce template, written a short manual showing how to use it and the rest is history. Anyone with basic HTML knowledge and basic image editing skills can use it.

I've taken the approach of overwriting a default installation of osCommerce with selected files. The desired result is achieved simply by overwriting only the appropriate files, replacing a few images, changing some colors in the stylesheet and inserting links in the secondary navigation. It has been extremely successful (for those who get it), used by webmasters as a quick means of providing a customized storefront for clients or by small storeowners alike. This is not a theme but instead should be viewed as a blank canvas awaiting your artistic touch. It's easy to use and is by far the best inexpensive alternative out there.

PM me if interested and I will send you the zipped file after payment (via PayPal) is confirmed.

    Thanx everyone

I take it what you are selling is the template, etc shown on the demo site?
How easy to have it sell downloadable products (scripts, ebooks, etc)?
Set up to upload new material, etc?

    Default Hi iowadawg

What you are asking is a question about osCommerce functionality as opposed to the template itself. osCommerce has a built in utility to sell digital products, though I have never used it. I just happen to be experimenting with it right at this moment and may be able to give you a more complete answer in a few hours.

    Hi again iowadawg

I checked it out and it is very easy to use osCommerce for selling downloadable digital products. There is a utility built right into the administration panel for doing this.
