Thread: Wow... well I am impressed with my host

One of my members was getting blocked off and on from one of my websites and we couldn't figure out why, I finally contact my host... qoozz.com to see if they knew what the problem was. I told them the members IP. They immediately added the IP to the allowed list, as the firewall was blocking the member.

I had also complained in the same support ticket about the server being slow according to many of my members, he gave me some options, one was to move the site to another server, which I chose, it was moved immediately, which I was not expecting, I thought days if anything.

The new server is very fast, I've been getting support emails back and forth all day about various concerns I've had and I wasn't expecting that on a weekend. Looks like I don't have to move my sites from that host.

I definitely recommend their services, Leslie provides awesome support!

I'm checking them out. Seems like a good company. Might have to sign up with them. I'll see how much webspace I need and make a decision.

You won't regret it, I've been there awhile now, anything I complain about is fixed, even server time, though it was off by minutes, but it matters to me on a forum. They really should charge more but hey, I am not complaining.

I haven't heard much good or bad about GoDaddy for hosting, but have heard you shouldn't use registrar hosting as it's not their main area of expertise...

Anyway, I am gonna move my design site to qoozz.

What's the prices with that hosting company?

Right now with godaddy I get 1000gig bandwidth and 100 gig storage with unlimited domain name hosting and 25 databases. All for 10 USD after tax a month. Also I'm always worried about back up what is the maximum file upload size when restoring a database?

Wow, pretty low pricing for an established host Worth considering if I ever need something bigger.

They go above and beyond, I'm going to have to write up a review/testimonial for them myself.

I'm going to try out their $5 plan to start. I can always upgrade to more when/if I need it.
