Would it be all right to have multiple sites on one hosting account if you dont link to the other domains within the account?

Yes.

There are always things that can happen such as one site being blocked/banned that could effect others on the same IP.

Yes if would be fine. However 'if' one site is banned/blocked an IP could be blocked/banned which would effect the other sites.

My servers have 90% of the sites on one IP. Only sites that need a static IP have their own, such as certain top priority sites or sites that have an SSL

uh ok, i see. I don't think i would be in much danger of being banned. One of my projects requires a dedicated server though

So all that leaves me to do is to raise enough money to be able to afford webtalkdomains Dedicated Server which is pretty reasonable at 79.99/month

You mean multiple accounts in the same server or in the same account like addon domains?

Both are possible and the very common thing.

And you can still interlink your domains on the same IP address. Those links still count, maybe not as much as if they were on unique IP's (and different Whois info) but they still help a little.

You can interlink within reason, it can also backfire and hurt you.

Yes, within reason. It's more a matter of numbers that just relvancy. If you have 100 sites all on the same IP and try to interlink them all to pass PR around then it would likely hurt you. If you only had 5 sites and linked them, even if un-related content, then you should be fine.

it should all be fine indeed, if you keep it small..

In respect of SEO point of view, you should keep limited sites on one server/ip.
You will get good exposure in search engines, if sites are linked and on different servers/ip.

If you not going to link sites with each other it will be good. In other way you possible to get filtered.
