    Default Hostgator reseller setup

Has anyone else ever used a hostgator reseller account?

If so what the heck do I do to set it up? How much bandwidth/disk space should I create for myself?

I have been using a hostgator reseller account for over 2 years now. For you own site i would just allocate what you need, mine is set at 350MB but i only use half that and about 2GB bandwidth.

as far as breaking down the packages for reselling that is up to you to determine. The more you give the less you can make so its a balance between offering, price and what most usesually use.

I find most sites are less than 250 MB and use less than 2GB bandwidth.

    hope that helps

I forgot to mention that if you go with hostgator use the WHMCS billing solution, NOT the WHM Autopilot, it is so much better. I just switched to it and let me tell you importing was not fun, I had to go over all my accounts, but it was well worth it. I am already saving time with the WHMCS software.
