Thumbs down Is it possible to run ASP under LINUX

To make ASP run under Linux, PHP script files are saved as ASP extensions and are redirected to the PHP interpreter. So it looks like the server serves ASP files, but these are actually PHP scripts.

You want to run a PHP site and to be seen by visitors as a ASP site ?

    Why ? :2091:

You can use mod_rewrite, it's easier...

Well, in that case, then I guess the joke is on fpforum for laughing at people who don't know everything, and why would we know everything? I guess we should laugh at you now, fpforum.

You can run asp on linux!, easily. If you know what ur doing!

    As for hostcp

Here's what you need to do to get your sites .php files running php
    under .asp

Add this to your .htaccess file:

    Code:
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .asp

I'm just confused by the first post.

The title appears like a question... and the post appears like an answer.

    Is (s)he answering his(her) own question ?
