Thread: PwrHost.com - Anybody Recommends?

Ok I found this host and I liked the plans they are offering. But quite a few reviews on the net.
Does anybody recommend this and can I know how their services are?

I ain't sure about this host, never heard.
But after experiencing with many top hosts, i am quite disappointed with them.
I suggest you go with a smaller host.

They have been around quite a while and I don't recall seeing anything bad about them anywhere.

they are quite new... Creation Date: 2006-08-22 well not that new, almost two years old.

I was actually planning to switch to their hosts..! but just not... a lil troubled or feeling uneasiness in my mind.... are they good or not?.. phew!

Give em a try for a month and see how they are. I tend to start off a new host with a domain that not many know about to test the waters

Did you get a chance to have a quick search in the forums? may be you can have a look in forums like wht too.

Try to contact them with a few questions so that you can know about their response time and all.

I agree -- send them a few emails to test out the response times

You can try them for 30 days and if you are not satisfied you can get your money back.

They got an Award from WebHostsOnline, so that's pretty impressive.

Never heard of them. Try to get hosting somewhere that has been running for a while.

Hope the smaller hosts don't grow into top hosts and overload their servers as well. Happens to many hosting companies who can't cope with the growth.

Hey Zeus did you go with this host? If you did, how do you like it? I've been looking on here for a different host but not seeing a lot of options.

The reason I ask is that I currently pay $1 a month and been their for quite some time. But I need SSH access. And cannot see anything in that price range with ssh.

Not many will give you SSH access outside of a VPS or dedicated. A few will, it's rare, and also makes you think how secure are they?

Never heard of them. try to get the reliable hosting..
