We've been doing about the same as usual. Sales always go down around Christmas and pick up again mid-to-late January and they have.

To be very honest… till now we are not much affected by this slowdown. Our marketing and better ranking had helped us to maintain our sales ratio high/stable. We hope and are working hard to achieve more in near future too.
Perfect marketing policies and maintaining customer satisfaction is the key to succeed in this abnormal financial situation.
As far as I see economical slow down has almost no effects on hosting industry yet!

I would imagine in the long run we will see a rise in hosting customers if anything, as more people lose jobs and try to look at other ways of making money, this could bring a whole new era of wannabe webmasters looking to make a quick buck and taking out hosting packages.

Our sales have been the same and somehow increased. We should just hope this crisis is over before it hits the hosting industry.
