Thread: What do you want out of your Hosting Co?

well im looking for ways to improve on my web hosting company , and wanted to hear from other web masters on what it is they are looking for and what makes you go with a certain company over the others.

is it support? hardware? pricing?

what ever it is let me know. im excited to get more information so i can better my customer service and get more clients. its all about the clients lol

For me uptime is very important but good backup and fast customer service is also critical.

Ditto, I went from Hostgator to Bluehost for these exact reasons. Bluehost had 24/7 live support. This was important for me because I could only work on my sites after the family was in bed.

Customer support is detrimental in retaining customers and getting referrals. The "newbies" need that help to buy again 3,6, 12 months down the road

a decent customer care service and less downtimes.

Uptime, security, support, and overall reliabilty to sleep well at night
