Web hosting is the service that makes a web site available to others on the internet. Basically when you rent web space you are renting disk space on someone's computer which is connected full time to the internet. Of course technically it gets more complicated than that, but that's the basic definition.

There are literally thousands of web hosting services available today. Some web hosts offer general web hosting for all, while others focus on a specific industry or niche of hosting

But searching one reliable company is really tough. But I am lucky that i have hosted my website with reliable web hosting company that provides proper uptime and high bandwidth.

well said, found many discussion in forums about the web host and domain register.. Some beginners do not know what is it and how to do.. So its helpful for the beginners
