I want to start my own personal blog and someone writes at the other forum that bluehost is good. Which do you think is the best?
Is Godaddy also good?

Both of them are good. Now it depends on your internet connection if you want speed or not, but I think that it isn't a problem with goddady and bluehost. In server performance I think you can go where ever you pocket money reach you. Both of them have a very good servers.
Good luck

Learn the basics on how to create a website or a blog.
I have heard a lot of flack about Bluehost, a lot less than about HostGator.
If you are planning on running a forum or any moderately resource - intensive site than I would personally choose HostGator if I were you.
Best of luck.
neither, try hostgator.com
Many guys think hostgator is the most popular one.Maybe you can have a try.I think
you can not simply regard any one as the best. What you need to do is choosing a
suitable one for you.Maybe it's not the best, but the most suitable for you.
HostEase Web Hosting

I would not recommend both ! Copmlex Cpanels and yearly payments(else expensive monthly plans ) .... I recommend you find a 'normal' host that does not promise 'unlimited' storage and bandwidth....
it will be better if you use hostgator.com because its a easy front panel so that you can use easily and also their support team is so helpful. best of luck.
GoDaddy support sucks! Just buy domains.
However I don't trust BlueHost also, look at their TOS before placing your order.

Is bluehost is free??because godaddy need $5..
blue host, you can tryhostgator also..

Bluehost Discount @ $3.95 - regular price $6.95 / month.
Hostmonster Discount@ $3.95 - regular price $6.95 / month.
I would pick Godaddy. Bluehost has the Unlimited plan which by far the worst hosting you can get. No such thing as unlimited.
The Unlimited thing is not bad with hosts like Hostgator and Bluehost. They know their hosting is topnotch but need to use stupid phrases like "Unlimited hosting" to convince stupid people.
To the OP: I would go with Hostgator, and I don't think Godaddy hosting is in the same league as Hostgator and BlueHost.
Unlimited is 'bad' in my eyes no matter who you go with, there simply is no such thing as 'unlimited'
Like others have said, I would personally stay away from both and go with hostgator.com or something like that. Godaddy is great with domains, but domains are their primary business. Sometimes the hosting isn't up to par because it's not their primary business. I would go with a company where hosting is what they do.
For Bluehost, there's been a lot of complaints, so I would watch out.
I've heard better things about bluehost than godaddy. Godaddy appears to be slower and longer wait times on support.
I have had both. Blue Host is ok, their support sometimes is slow or isnt that great. GoDaddy is horrible, I ordered their cheapest one, just to give them a shot. But they lost my data every other week and had to pay $150 to get a screen shot restored. You try Viro Networks out (monthly) or FatCow (yearly)
Godaddy Shared hosting is good. They give you loads of resources and no downtime. Support is good but not great because it take few hours for them to reach you back.
I think, GoDaddy is good, but i just use GoDaddy for buy domain
i am using goddady . and i am quit pleased by now

I perfer go with Bluehost, godaddy support is very worse
Between the two I recommend BlueHost. I only use godaddy for domain registrations.
This has been asked for so many times. And as I noticed most webmaster vote for bluehost. Since bluehost is more reliable.![]()
my opinion is Bluehost is best, very secure hosting and stick about their rules, i have long experience with bluehost,
To be honest with you, none of them are good.
I've been with Godaddy for 4 years and I like their support and service with the exception of a download speed problem I had earlier this year. I was on Linux Hosting and moved to Windows and found the download speed droppped to a really low level. I then switched back to Linux and all is fine. I can stream constantly at 5mbs. When I contacted Godaddy about this problem they wouldn't acknowledge that there was a problem which really ticked me off.
So other than that, all is fine.
How is everybody backing up their claims here?
Both are meant to be good but I would also recommend dreamhost for affordable shared hosting or slicehost for VPS hosting.
I've no connections with either but use them for hosting.
bluehost is better than godaddy.
I still see bluehost as the best for webhosting and domain registration goes for godaddy.

To be honest I've heard mainly poor reviews from both, but I think that Bluehost are a bit better.
As they say it's always better to separate your domains from your hosting.
I would not recommend godaddy even for domain registration. They can anytime give any stupid reasons and block the domain.

GoDaddy is still the best host.
Thanks guys. I think I am enlightened right now.
I would go with GoDaddy...they even give you free blog tools
It is advisable to realize this before choosing a webhost the price should not be the determining factor as not all that are expensive are good and not all that are cheap are bad so you really cannot differentiate with their cost.Cheapest hosting may not always be the best plan for you. The difference between the two is that Godaddy Web Hosting is cheap and have alot of customer but thier services are low whereas in bluehost the price is a bit high but their services are good. I therefore suggest bluehost as the best![]()
