Default Has anybody tried Web Hosting Pad??

Has anybody had any experience with a company called Web Hosting Pad?
I am temted as they have an offer for 4 years hosting for around $95. Including unlimited domains, bandwith, diskspace etc etc.

Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them, and if so what did they think?

    Thanks..

I haven't personly used them, however that's under $2 per month. Plus "unlimited" disk-space and bandwidth doesn't exist.

I'd be a tad cautious since the plan is very cheap (and "unlimited"), which may attract a few less-than-perfect customers.

You have to be careful of companies offering you unlimited disk space and bandwidth. In some cases they'll never tell you everything but once you've signed you start noticing hidden gotchas.

I have ordered it anyway. I took up an offer for 3 years at $71. Haven't been connected as yet but I will leave feed back soon.

I paid through paypal so any trouble, and I should get my money back without too much agro. Heres hoping they don't mess about.

So far, I haven't heard any serious complaints from people who have actual experience with them.

PS, I am aware that no host ACTUALLY offers unlimited space. But this tells me that there will be more then enough disk space for my needs. When my career advances, I will purchase a better hosting deal (if the new world order hasn't begun it's population cull before then)...

I took a good decision years ago and went with downtownhost they are not overselling 300gb traffic and 7gb space and my articles showed up on digg front page many times upto 2500 users online for whole night and server stood still without any complaint and sometimes upto 150k visits over night. Try this with any of the over selling crap and you'll know yourself

Overselling ! one single word can describe their host.

I tried them, I didnt like support. I didnt like server performance. My sites were loading very very slow. I changed to hostgator and the same sites I hosted with web hosting pad, where loading up to 2 times faster. Then i created my own hosting company but thats another story.

My advice is to get away from them, and also justhost.

If what youre looking for is a to get hosting with a BIg company, go with hostgator.

Have been switched on a couple of weeks now. So far things are ok. Have been keeping an eye on uptime through basic state uptime monitor, which checks every 15 minutes, and have just yesterday set up the one free account with pingdom uptime monitor. Pingdom will check site as frequently as every minute if you wish. Not neccessary in my case.

I have yet to get a report from pingdom, but according to basic state the uptime so far is 98.23% average. It isn't the stated 99.9% but, for $1.99 per month I am not complaining.

I have been monitoring a site with my previous shared host also. My friend pays something like $20 or $30 per month with atcihosting. So far the uptime has been 96.99% on average. So my host has had a better uptime, so far that is.

As for response times, web hosting pad has averaged 0.875 seconds for total response times ("time to last byte"), whereas atcihosting was slightly quicker at 0.748 seconds. But I cannot deny that the response times can sometimes be far slower (only sometimes though) peaking at around 35 seconds. But again, for $1.99 I am not complaining.

I realise this. What you do get though is 10GB diskspace and 100GB bandwidth. For my present situation, this is as good as unlimited. Host as many domains as you want too.

So far I am happy with them. If things carry on as they are now, I would be pleased with my choice. As a starter host they have everything I need and want.

I will no doubt invest in a better host in the next year or so anyway but web hosting pad is there as a backup for the next 3 years, for $71.64. And I've spent at least twice that, on a friday night on the town before now. On more then one occassion.

    So thumbs up for now!!!!

Yes I have used it before and it has a lot of advantages. It experienced as it has been in business for sometimes now, it is realiable and offers full time support. It has a low cost that can be affordable and therefore it is easy to maintain it. Another advantage is that WebHostingPad uses the latest version of Cpanel and has a lot of great add-ons including a website builder tool WebHostingPad uses the latest version of Cpanel. Web Hosting Pad is great because of its best deals for unlimited hosting, bandwidth, and domains.

It is because of this that the search for affordable web web host has also become quite typical. However, the use of many inexpensive web web host organizations has made it challenging to choose which one to choose.

I do not, but I will take that in consideration, 4 years for under $100 is pretty good.

Unlimited hosting doesn't exists in the web hosting industry. And even if any one tends to offer unlimited hosting I don't think they any one can offer it at such a low price. I won't suggest you to check out some reviews sites because most of the review sites are being owned by affiliates and ratings are given according to the owner. Its better to opt hosting service for a month and see how reliable are they.
