Does anyone use their Hostgator web traffic utility in cPanel rather than Google Analytics? Seems as though Hostgator reports FAR more traffic that analytics..

AwStats or one of the others?
Either way, yes, I prefer AwStats compared to Analytics.
AwStats is composed of the Apache access logs, whilst Analytics is just based off some JavaScript inserted into a web page. I do think that AwStats is more reliable![]()

I use both Analytics and Awstats. If possible a 3rd party website stats service.
Then I compara and get an average !
I use only Google analytic. I still not aware of Awstats.
awstats only here, besides my direct admin servers
Yes, it gives more valuable data for some of my websites.
I will recommend Awstats its flexible and reliable for Cheap Web Hosting the flow of traffic is enhanced and it works good.

I use both Analytics and Statcounter.
Statcounter has been good to me over the years, they offer good support via their forum. Statcounter seems easier to use and understand.
Analytics offers more features, more learning curve.
It's kind of nice to use both analytics and awstats available in many host control panels. Both have pluses and minuses I guess. Awstats tends to count just about anything, whether it be a bot, crawler, someone trying to hit your site, whatever. Where I'm not so sure if Analytics counts all of these. And it is possible to block analytics from ones browser so those that might do that wouldn't be counted. Probably a little rare, but there are some that do.
I think Google Analytics number one ! It's very powerful ! You should choose it !
go to Google analytic it is best
I will recommend Google analytic
