Thread: Who is your Favorite Hosting Company and Why??

I have a favorite host for blogs and web sites and I was curious to know who your favorite hosts are and why..

Blue Voda: Great for Websites. Allows you to build sites withouot knowing HTML. The site has built in features that I like such as key word optimization and page layout tools which is a built in SEO trick. You can click on view top to have the search engine view the title first. There is more on how to do this in their forum. There are also other neat things like logos and can also have as many domains as possible under one host, which saves you money.

Typepad: Blue voda is great for web sites, but not good for blogs. To create a blog with blue voda you need to import software and jump through hoops. So I found typepad. Typepad has SEO training and other tools. I also like their templates and support.

I have a favorite hosting site.....Hostgator.com

I don't really have a favourite. There is a lot to be said for using different companies. If they let you down the damage is minimal.

Out of the three that I HostGator is my favorite web hosting company because I have had no problems using them.

Hostgator as its the best all around

I have 4 websites and all are hosted at Hiox india. I have had no problem for more than 3 years. I usually prefer growing companies instead of using Giant hosting providers. Becuase their service would be outstanding as to improve themselves for future.

My favorite is bluehost bco'z they provide me good service. I am satisfied

I prefer Arvixe. They have been around for a long time. Their data center is located in California. All of our phpLD customers who have tried have been happy. On the other hand, while I don't dislike hostgator, the number of "incidents" has been a little higher. We are happy to recommend Arvixe now, and they are our host of choice at phpLD.

My favourite hosting company is ipage

I have been using it for almost 2 years, shared hosting, only paying 10$ per month for how many sites I want.
The sites are loading pretty fast, very good uptime (sometimes it`s 100% for a month) and the support is perfect..always replied in no time and solved my problems

My Favorite web host is Site5.com. Why? Because I work there in support as a systems admin; and I know we rock. Give em a shot, you won't regret it. There's a reason we have a 4.9 out of 5 rating on ratepoint

Everyone has their own favorite company which others may or may not like.

My favorite is HostGator. They are simply the best.

myhosting.com is my favorite web host.

Cheap prices. GREAT reliability. Fantastic customer service.

That is why I use them. They haven't let me down one bit.

Hawkhost.com has always been pretty good to me and relatively cheap

Any host can be a favorite but to be a spectacular one, they have to set their standards high which is what I look for.

Reliability is a MUST.

They are ok. Nothing really spectacular in my opinion. They are certainly better than Godaddy but no one really matches myhosting.com in my opinion. Just the difference in customer service is amazing. That is why I chose them.

ipage? i bought an unlimited hosting plan at iPage, it pissed me and regret why did i bought the plan..

anyway, my 1 site was hosted at hostgator and i agree that they are one of the best hosting company.

I always prefer planetonline.net, they have done great job for me, they are the excellent and main thing is that their prices are affordable.

My favorite is GoDaddy.com Hosting Plans this is because it has different packages and countless features which make they a great option for hosting a personal or small business web site. Isn't it great

For me, its blue host and hostgator because of its features and the price which is affordable.

Hostgator for me is better. I have no problem so far.

webhost1 is the one i am using now

HOstgator is the best and it is on top as i know....
Therefore hostgator is my choice..

IPOWER is the best web hosting company for me as it provides Increasingly popular host, great for basic easy website management.

I think there are plenty of services, that is the reason i don't link any specific.

I have personally only used two different web hosts over the last 10 years or so. I used iPowerWeb (now just "iPower") for many years, but as they began to really grow and take off their uptime got patchy and you would have to wait an hour to get someone on the phone. They charged me for another year, even after I had made it clear to them I no longer wished to use their services, etc. They just got sloppy. So about 2-3 years ago, I started using BlueHost. I have never visited any of my sites to find that they are down and they have all the options that I was looking for. I've never called them, but I have never had reason to either. I have chatted with them for tech support and was able to get a quick solution from them. Also, they make using Wordpress really easy.

A lot of the bigger companies are abandoning their clients with poor service.
It is really such a shame that they charge more too. I don't get why some people pay more than I do and get service that is never as good.

mine so far is WebhostMafia - Cheap Reliable Web Hosting because there one of few that don't have SETUP FEES! and has been good to me with no down time.

Hostgator.Com hands down. Best prices and customer service.
Any issues I've had they've always resolved.
