Post Choosing a Good Domain Name

While registering a domain name that your main company website will use, I will indicate certain things that you should avoid:

    1. There is a possibility of forgetting your domain name while typing the name into the browser or e-mailing you if you use a hyphen. So, avoid hyphen to reduce future problems.
    2. Try not to use digits in your domain name. For example, if it is 3.com, you have to inform everyone that it is "3" instead of "three".

Now, with regard to your domain name, I will show some positive things:
    1. To just make it better than others, try keeping simple spellings.
    2. Make it as short as possible as the maximum length should be 3 words or 20 characters.

I personally do not like hyphens, numbers, or even words or letters that really don't spell anything. I do prefer .com's over any other extension, but we all know how hard they are to come by these days for a decent short domain name. I know some people will take a hyphenated domain name if their preferred keyword or key phrase is in the domain name.

Good advise friend, I have more than 10 domains I always choose to try short if possible but sometimes domains are not available so we have to add more characters

IMO choosing your domain should be relevant to your sites product or services or by using the specific kws but make sure if the kws has a low competent but high in searches.
