Post Choosing a PHP Web Host

A little information about PHP would be helpful. It is a very popular server side programming language that can be embedded into HTML. Its popularity has been aided by the following features:

    *It is free.
    *Easy to learn and use.
*It is a fully object oriented language.
    *It is platform independent.
*Its speed on the Linux server makes it very effective in building complex, and large web applications.
*It allows advanced programming and is very easy to integrate with web pages.
*PHP also integrates very nicely with MYSQL.

Also want to make sure that you choose a host that offers the newest edition of PHP. (PHP5) Any host these days will offer support for PHP but only a handful will offer the new PHP 5. Most are still on the PHP 4 standard.

I've been using PHP 5 with my host and the new standard is definitely more optimized and cleaner.

PHP is an object oriented language. I have learnt it for my project purpose in my final year. Its easy to implement and user-friendly.

It is, but as mentioned, make sure you get 5. It has a lot of extra little OO perks=]
