    Thumbs up My advise with webhosting

    Hello

    i have been with loads of hosting companys and currently own my own. If you are new and are considering buying hosting here is my advise.

    If you see an advertisement on a forum that offers you unlimited everything take into consideration they may not offer very good customer service. People say money rules the world meaning the cheaper something is the better.

    This however is not the case. Lets say you got unlimited hosting, but there was a problem DONT EXPECT 24HOUR SUPPORT, and remember there is no such thing as unlimited, everything is limited !

    I say go with a company that offer 24hours live chat support, they dont offer 600TB disk and 598 TB banwidth, for one reason YOU DONT NEED IT ! But you do need support as what if there is a problem !

    To add to this, if you still intend to opt for such a company that offers unlimited stuff, I would suggest you to atleast check if they offer a money back guarantee. With this, you'd have a chance to try their services. If you are satisfied then you may continue with them, but if you don't, you can take your money and your website to some other host who claims to offer factual services.

    I like hostgator hosted with wordpress. Blue voda is my second choice, but I am thinking about moving all that content over to a wordpress blog.

    What I'd like to suggest always read TOS before signing up any kind of web hosting plan so that will helps to avoid further problems.

    I agree that 24hour support is important, but it doesn't have to be only livechat support. A ticketing system with quick response times is preferred by many people, as it provides a written record you can reference later (if you have the same problem again, you won't have to explain it all over if a different livechat rep is online)

    Yes definitely, the customer support is much important as you might get unlimited hosting with unlimited features, but if the support is available you will have to face a huge loss if any issues occur during the hosting period and may be you will have to hire a professional to solve your issues and pay extra charges. Better to find a web host who can offer you excellent technical support for free even if the features are limited.

    Following are suggestions for purchasing the hosting:
    - Check the bandwidth (data transfer, it’s too much important)
    - Compare the feature and Add-ons support.
    - Compare the hosting size.
    - Select the appropriate hosting. (If the websites on Asp then go for Windows hosting and if the web on php then go for Linux)
    - Search user reviews about this hosting company and technical support.

    Hi,
    I know that there are plenty of webhost in the market today. So many host to choose from. Because of this competition, prices become affordable. But, we need to be aware that there are certain host that really excel above the rest. So in order to find out which is the best, we need to check their features, the prices, and as well as the reviews about them. Their are good and bad reviews in each of the host that we knew but i guess, in order to prove if its right or wrong, then we need to check it out ourselves. Some are offering assistance but I prefer those host with live chat support because you can get your desired answers right away

    There are a lot of factors almost too many that will vary sometimes considerably from one host to another. From the server software, how it is configured and setup along with php running dso/mod_php, cgi/suphp, fcgi/fast cgi, to how many accounts they put on the thing. How good they are with security and keeping the thing running/support. Depends on what kind of sites, the traffic they get and the kind of script they run. Etc...etc. Lots of other things involved. I have seen one host put 300+ accounts on a server for those cheap prices everyone likes, while another host might charge a little more but only put 100 accounts on a server. Server power, memory, setup and configuration will come into play too. But, there are plenty of hosts out there. If one doesn't work out there are many others to try.

    There are so many factors that we should consider in choosing the best web host for us. We may be confused with all the adds that we can see in the net today. Too many offers different prices and features. If you have some difficulty deciding which host will be good for you. You may look for reviews so that you would know what are the experiences of other people using those host. In that way, you can narrow your list of prospected host. Once you have the list, you may proceed in checking on their features and prices and you may now compare what host can meet your standards and what host suited your budget.
