I want to know if I book a domain and my site is not getting good traffic. In this condition why should I take the hosting service?

If I don’t go with hosting services then will my site not open world wide ?

You can host your site on your own PC in theory, but it is technically difficult. (If you're asking this question, then you need hosting!)

Exactly. Avoid all of the hassle. In many cases, your ISP will also shut you down if you use the internet connection for hosting. The bandwidth just gets drained which is a breach of their terms of service. Avoid this trouble at all cost and just buy hosting. It is cheaper, easier, and safer.

The reliability of a data center is so much more resilient as well. Your site will be up more than 50% of the time at least in all cases. With an ISP based server, you'll have more downtime than anything offered on the market.
