Default Name cheap now in the hosting business!

Just got their newsletter this morning.
Nice pricing and packages with plenty of storage and bandwidth.

    ***Web Hosting Launch***

After months and months of planning, preparation and more planning, we're
very excited to tell you about our new web hosting line that we recently
introduced. In addition to our domain registration and other services, we're
now offering a range of hosting packages. This means you can register your
domains and purchase your hosting from us, without having to worry about
    finding a good host.

Information on our hosting packages can be found at
http://www.namecheaphosting.com and as an existing customer of NameCheap,
we've got a discount/coupon code entitling you to 15% discount off any of
our packages. Just enter 'COUPONBYEMAIL' as you sign up. Pricing starts from
just $39.95 per year (and will be lower if you use the coupon).

All of our hosting packages come with the level of service and support you
have come to expect from Namecheap, as well as features like enterprise
strength spam protection using commercial product like MailFoundry for all
of your email accounts, full 24x7 technical support and blazing fast
speeds from our Intel Xeon powered servers.

Is hosting and regging domains from the same sources a good idea?
Some say no (or is that just cause they don't like GoDaddy?)

Cool! I might get an account just to try them out.

I just really hope Name Cheap don't turn into GoDaddy and try to upsell on every freakin' page, I swear they make it an exercise in futility just to get to the checkout page, then they're still trying to sell you yourname.name.. Oh wait you have a great domain!! Why don't buy the .net, .org, .us, .tv, .mobi, and .idiot extension for it now, we'll add them all to your cart for a two year term just to show you how much we care about you.

I'm a fan of their domain name service, but I don't like putting ALL my eggs in one basket.
