Comments, on your blog are this. I don't like the blue jean background I would change that. If you decide to keep it. Then I would change the black color outline around the search box to the shade of pink on the buttons. Change the green links color on the bottom to the same shade as the buttons. The yellowish dot I would change to the same color too.

Keep things uniform. Just my opinion.

I'm with Sami on the jean background. It doesn't flow either. It's too squarey (look at the bottom and you can clearly see the edges of the background where it repeats). Plus it doesn't look great anyway (imo).

Your links (the colour of them at least) need some work. I can see 5 different link types on the page. Most of these have reason to be different than the main link colour but i'm not quite sure about two of them.
Your main links are orange with a dotted underscore and turn pink on hover. The links on the sidebar are orange without a dotted underscore and turn pink with the dotted underscore on hover. Why are these two different? The same link pattern should have been used for these two IMO.

But in general I like the look of it. Nice colour scheme and layout

Oh sorry. They do look very similar.

Same comments about the jean background though.

Other than that i'd change the hover of the main menu to the pinkish background (instead of gray).
